Ingredients

  • 1 whole sea bass (about 2 pounds), cleaned and scaled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 lemons (1 sliced into rounds, 1 juiced)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

Rinse the sea bass under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels.

  3. 3

Drizzle the olive oil over the fish, both inside the cavity and on the outside, ensuring it is well-coated.

  4. 4

Season the inside and outside of the fish with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. 5

Stuff the cavity with half of the lemon slices, minced garlic, parsley, and thyme.

  6. 6

Place the stuffed sea bass on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  7. 7

Drizzle the lemon juice over the top of the fish and arrange the remaining lemon slices on top.

  8. 8

Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
