Ingredients

  • 8 large cabbage leaves
  • 2 medium carrots, grated
  • 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

    Bring a large pot of water to a boil and carefully add the cabbage leaves.

    Blanch the cabbage leaves for about 2-3 minutes until soft, then remove and set aside to cool.

    In a mixing bowl, combine grated carrots, red bell pepper, green onion, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper.

    Lay a blanched cabbage leaf on a flat surface, place a spoonful of the vegetable mixture in the center, and fold in the sides. Roll up tightly to enclose the filling.
