Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or your choice)
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

    Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano, and basil.

    In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.

    In a baking dish, spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom. Place the browned chicken breasts on top of the sauce.

    Pour the remaining marinara sauce over the chicken, then sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
