Ingredients

  • 400 grams firm tofu, cubed
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. 1

Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut it into cubes.

  2. 2

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium heat. Add the tofu cubes and fry until golden brown on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

  4. 4

Add the sliced bell peppers and broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  5. 5

In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, and cornstarch mixture. Pour this sauce over the vegetables in the skillet, and stir to coat evenly.

  6. 6

Return the fried tofu to the skillet and gently toss everything together. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  7. 7

Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot over steamed rice.
