Ingredients

  • 9 sheets lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, egg, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.

  3. 3

In a 9x13 inch baking dish, spread 1/3 of the marinara sauce on the bottom.

  4. 4

Layer 3 lasagna noodles over the sauce, then spread half of the ricotta mixture over the noodles followed by half of the spinach and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.

  5. 5

Repeat with another layer of 3 noodles, the remaining ricotta mixture, the rest of the spinach, and more marinara sauce, followed by mozzarella, then top with the final layer of noodles.

  6. 6

Spread the remaining marinara sauce over the last layer of noodles, add a sprinkle of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.

  7. 7

Pour the water around the edges of the lasagna to keep it moist during baking.

  8. 8

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
